“ Very cozy place, but incredibly long waiting time. Took me 30 min for the soup to come (came in a cup about 150 ml and a small piece of white bread) and another 20 minutes for a piece of cake that I ordered after the soup. The apple pie has a lot of room for improvement. Though if you have a lot of free time and not very hungry I would very much recommend this green calm and cozy place. ”
“ Spacious venue where a cute bar, a fries food truck, and a pizzaria are located. The venue hosts regular events from Jazz/Fado music to outside cinema, to family friendly BBQ. Seemingly it's also a campsite, where you can enjoy the fun of the wilds. Overall, it really embodies the Dutch "gezellig". ”
“ An absolutely lovely place for familes. The tables are in the open, close to the nature but also protected against rain. The food is fine, the service is quick and friendly and there is plenty of place for the kids to play. ”
“ Beautiful location, very green. Reservations were unfortunately not possible. You order food using your phone and an alarm on your table goes off when you can go and pick it up. Regarding the menu: the available drinks were pretty standard, the pizza's we had were made in a brick oven and were definitely of above average quality (especially for the Netherlands) . ”

“ The food is great and they are perfectly set up to cater to crowds. You are able to order with a QR code and there is a flashy light that tells you were and when to pick up your food. It is a very smooth self service experience, which makes it possible to have tables spread out so it doesn't feel crowded even during cool events that also take place at the Fort. My favourite of those is when the Circus visits. Circus Snor is definitely a great experience, both for kids, but also for the adults. ”
“ I was cycling along the Vecht River when my left leg suddenly cramped, and I couldn’t pedal. I found a nearby café to rest. The ice coffee and cake were delicious, and the café staff were friendly. After about an hour of relaxing, my leg felt better, and I was able to ride again. It was a great place that healed both my mind and leg. ”
